Yaz Related Strokes
Yaz has been linked to several strokes in women that are otherwise considered fit and healthy. One of the main reasons for the increased risk of stroke and other serious medical conditions while taking Yaz birth control is due to the synthetic hormone drospirenone or DRSP. DRSP, which is present in Yaz birth control, thickens the blood causing blood clots to form in all areas of the body.
